THRIVE Dance Platform
THRIVE is a performance platform celebrating dance created & performed by adults. A rich program of dance, THRIVE presents live performance and dance for screen at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.
Hosted by Cascade Dance, the event provides a much-needed platform for adult dancers to share and showcase their work, raising the profile of dance to the wider community.
THRIVE 2024
THRIVE Dance Platform, hosted by Cascade Dance, is a much-needed opportunity for adult dancers to showcase their work in a professional theatre. Raising the profile of dance in Tunbridge Wells and the wider community, the 2024 event took place at the Trinity Theatre on Saturday 13th July.
Over 80 dancers between the ages of 18 – 85 performed at THRIVE, an event which celebrates dance from across all genres, abilities and ages 18+
All corners of the dance community including Ipswich based company ‘Encore East’, a company of mature dancers and the ‘Cascade Adult Collective’ a Tunbridge Wells company for adults, took part in THRIVE.

PAST: THRIVE 2022
Our first platform presented work from both local and regional artists and dancers aged 18 - 83, from companies such as DamnIt!DanceIt! an inclusive dance company for older people, Canterbury Christ Church University and the Cascade Adult Collective, involving Tunbridge Wells based adults. The event was held at Trinity Theatre, working closely to raise the profile of dance within the community and to support and recognise local dancers and choreographers.
2022 Artists included: Instep Dance (Boomerang), Cascade Adult Collective, Loop Dance Company ( DASP Program),Dance On, EncoreEast , SoloDonne, DamnItDance (Moving Memory), Canterbury Christ University (MCDC),Slyvera Dance, Sidonie Carey Green (Dance for Camera)
