Acro Dance Classes

Acro Dance

The fusion and artistry of dance with acrobactis, our Acro sessions follow the Acrobactic Arts Syllabus. The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.

Dancers develop their flexibility, strength and learn a range of drills, tricks and movements that combine their Acro dance skills into choreography.

Dancers are required to wear a uniform for our classes which includes a leotard and shorts with black footless tights. Please see the uniform list on the documents box on this page. Students will be placed into the correct class according to their ability and experience. Alongside developing skills each week, Acro dancers also work towards performances.

Joining our classes

The Acro classes are split into levels which runs in line with the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. This will provide the correct space for dancers to practice & develop their skills set according to their experience, which is vital for student progression and safety in the class. Please see below for the class time and level. New dancers will be invited to trial the classes to assess their ability, placing them in the correct class. Dancers will work on skills that are appropriate for them, with safety at the forefront.
