Cascade Youth Dance Co. 

We are relaunching our youth company for dancers aged 11-18 years in Tunbridge Wells. This is a performance company working towards local and regional dance events with an aim to offer additional opportunities & experiences for young dancers in the industy. 

Students will take part in weekly sessions delving into the creative process, learning choreography and working towards performance. A chance to work with professionals and gain experience in a range of Contemporary Dance styles.

About: Founded in 2008, the youth company program began in Tunbridge Wells and has since expanded across Kent working in partnership with Secondary Schools. After a long break,  Cascade are relaunching the Tunbridge Wells company for an Autumn 2024 start.  

Who Can Join?

The company is open to young dancers aged 11-18 who have a passion and a shared dedication for dance. They must commit to weekly sessions and be available for up to 2-3 performances per year.

Entry into the company is through audition only, with auditions taking place in Sept/Oct each year. 

We have 12 places in the company for dancers aged between 11 - 18. This is a mixed age company.

Company Sessions for Autumn 2024

Thursdays 6.00 - 7.00pm

Auditions: Thursday 3rd Oct @ The Camden Centre, Tunbridge Wells

Autumn Term: 10th Oct - 4th Dec ( 9 weeks)

Company will then run into the Spring / Summer 2025 terms

Cost

We are offering these as a community rate

£50 for 9 weeks (Paid termly)
